About Us

We have shared our home with many different breeds since 1985. In 2008 we added a companion boxer to our family and quickly fell head over heels in love with the breed. Carly introduced us to the fun loving, intelligent, loyal personality of the boxer and within a year we were looking for a second boxer. It was in that search we met Barb and Charlie Caroll of Bentbrook Boxers and they became our mentors. They had a beautiful young male that was available to a show home. We had no experience showing dogs but Barb was so willing to share her knowledge and this handsome boy. As Bentbrook’s Titan’s Jetter , or Titan, neared his championship we began to plan ahead and realized we were hooked. Barb and Charlie were again there to help us find an outstanding bitch to become the foundation of our breeding program. We then added our third boxer Ch. Avalon’s Windsong, or Melody, to our family. Melody is co-owned with Norra Hansen of Avalon Show Kennel and she had three outstanding litters. We chose our kennel name, Windsong Boxers, in honor of Melody. Through our boxers we have met many wonderful people and they all have helped educated us about the boxer, showing, and breeding. It is our goal to continue what others have started and breed for health, temperament and confirmation with the hope of preserving and maintaining, or improving these qualities in future generations.
